Here are the SUPERIOR PEOPLE- CITY OF THUNDER BAY

Achilles Running Club Bantam Boys Cross Country Team, competing at the Ontario Track and Field Associations
Cross Country Championships in Hamilton combined efforts for a 1st place finish. The team made up of Sean Spenrath (who also
finished first overall), Jacob Muirhead, Graham Campbell and Quin Ferguson, covered the 3km course with 3 top ten finishes.

Leah Boeckermann-Belanger, Leah, an O.A.C. student at Westgate Colligiate travelled to Blackburn Hamlet
outside Ottawa in early November to compete in the 2001 Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (O.F.S.A.A.), Cross
Country Championships. Competing in a field of 227 runners from across the Province finished the 5km course in a time of 20.31.6,
and in third place. Her average time per km was 4:07.

Cross Country Championships held in Hamilton on November 18, 2001, the team made up of Amanda Gamerschlag, Rebecca Steinhoff,
Tara Allaire and Gillian House finished in 3rd place over a 2km course.

coach Kim House, Ms House coaches both Bantam teams for the Thunder Bay Achilles Running Club.
